Angela RideoutCertified Yoga Teacher YT200 and Pilates Mat Instructor
Angela was introduced to yoga 28 years ago when she began suffering neck and back pain due to her occupation as a graphic designer. Health and wellness had always been an important part of Angela's life and she quickly saw the benefits of a regular yoga and meditation practice to help her stay present, grounded and grateful. Knowing that yoga was her life's passion she finally listened to the little voice that kept saying "Do it!" and pursued her Hatha Yoga Certification, following closely with her Restorative Yoga and Yin Yoga Certification. During her studies Angela was introduced to Pilates and quickly fell in love with this new movement modality, recently becoming a Certified Pilates Instructor as well.
Angela is known for her authentic and non-judgmental teaching style; and believes that Yoga and Pilates are for everybody regardless of age, gender, fitness level and body type. She strives to teach classes in a safe, focused and caring manner. Her classes combine creative sequencing with a focus on safe alignment and an emphasis on listening to your body, respecting your limits without judgment and meeting personal expectations. Angela cares about helping students breathe slowly, move mindfully and celebrate what they can do. She encourages her students to be kind to themselves on the mat and spread joy to others when they're off the mat. When not teaching, Angela enjoys staying active, embracing nature, creating art and loves spending quality time with her husband, 3 dogs and 1 judgmental cat >^..^< |
